The Diplomats' Juelz Santana recently discussed his relationship with Mase and why, despite past issues with the fellow Harlem-bred emcee, there isn't any bad blood between them.

Although Dipset and Mase were embroiled in a public beef in 2004, Juelz mentioned he never had problems with Mase on a personal level.
"For me, that was something that was inherited," Juelz told DJ Vlad when asked about Dipset's past beef with Mase. "That was a problem that was kinda, like, inherited -- I never really said anything about Mase because it was something I never really knew too much about. That's like somebody new getting with Jim [Jones] or Cam trying to talk about our situation as Diplomats. For one, they shouldn't allow them to, at the end of the day, and two, you don't really know too much about that situation. Of course I'm gonna ride for the cause, you know, that's who I'm with, but I don't know Mase, at the end of the day. I never really had no personal problems with Mase. Whatever problems Jim and them had, I guess that's kinda what they wrapped about and said..." (Vlad TV)
Santana also defended his decision to stand by Cam and Jim during their short-lived dispute with Mase.
"I don't got no personal feelings towards Mase," Juelz added. "I don't know if Jim still does -- at the end of the day, it's not about staying out of it, I'm Juelz. I can only move in the direction that's right. If it's something I don't know about or something, if I'm with my brothers, just like nobody is gonna let nothing happen to me and vice versa. People know me, I'm not there to get into it or entertain or start talking about something that don't concern me. I hardly entertain n*ggas that do talk about me because half of them are irrelevant, not on my level." (Vlad TV)
In 2004, Dipset released the anti-Mase record, "Take Em To Church."
"Yo, you try to handle us," Cam raps. "Get on the air and damage us/Screaming out Harlem (huh) like you ain't just a fan to us (Where you been at?)/Well let me fill you in, now it's a whole clan of us/Blink so mad, he went and beat up Canibus/Zeke got shot then Zeke locked up (then)/E got killed (what else?)/B popped up/But B hopped up and still broke out his chest/On probation, Doe on house arrest (what up Doe)" ("Take Em To Church")
However, last year, Jim Jones and Mase officially settled their issues.
"What's good Beth, what's poppin'," Jones asked in a phone interview towards Mase. "How you feeling? Hey man, that's what's up, I just wanted to tell you I tip my hat to you. I apologize for everything I did when I was younger. You can get my number from Self and sh*t like that. Pardon my French. Pardon, pardon me it's monumental that's why I'ma get off it. You already know Betha, it's nothing but love. Self's got my number, I'm jumping off the line. I'll holla, Jones." (Power 105.1)
